Answers to common and frequently asked questions.
1. What is a personal injury case?
A personal injury case exists if you have suffered an injury as a result of the acts of someone else or some entity or thing. For example, automobile collision, slip and fall injuries, injuries resulting from an unsafe product, an injury at the work place.
2. When should I contact an attorney?
Call now, don’t wait. There is a lot of truth to the saying that the sooner you call the more we can help
As soon as your are injured, the insurance company for the person/entity responsible for your injuries will assign an adjuster to start collecting information to help the defendant against any lawsuit you might bring/any claim you might bring.
You need to act promptly to retain an attorney so that they can take the steps necessary to protect your legal interests by preserving evidence, interviewing witnesses, taking pictures, hiring experts to examine the scene, etc. As your attorney, we will do these things for you. We charge nothing for an initial consultation. That consultation is a free no obligation consultation.
3. What does No recovery/No fee mean?
If I take your case there is no fee unless we recover for you. I will even advance the costs associated with your case and if we do not recover for you, you are not obligated to reimburse us for the costs.
We simply get a percent of what we recover for you. And, thus, if we don’t recover for you, you owe me nothing.
